Terms of Service
Last updated: April 12, 2026
Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ScreenKit (“the Service”, “we”, or “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
ScreenKit is a web-based editor that helps you design App Store and Google Play screenshots. Core features include a drag-and-drop canvas, device frames, templates, and multi-size image export. We offer a free tier and a paid tier (ScreenKit Pro).
Account
You must create an account to use ScreenKit. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use ScreenKit.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything illegal or that infringes others' rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or abuse the Service.
- Upload content that contains malware or violates third-party copyright.
- Share your account with others or resell access to the Service.
- Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Your content
You keep full ownership of any screenshots, images, and text you upload or create in ScreenKit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display Your Content solely so we can provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and we will never use it to train AI models, sell it, or display it to other users without your consent.
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and use Your Content with the Service, and that Your Content does not violate any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
Copyright and DMCA policy
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe that content on ScreenKit infringes your copyright, please send a notice to support@screenkit.tools with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material on the Service you claim is infringing, with enough detail to allow us to locate it.
- Your contact information (name, email, address, phone).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will respond to valid notices by removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material and notifying the user who posted it. We may terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
Templates and assets
ScreenKit provides templates, device frames, and UI components (“ScreenKit Assets”) to help you build screenshots. When you use a template, you receive a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the resulting screenshots in your own App Store and Google Play listings and marketing materials. You may not redistribute or resell the ScreenKit Assets themselves as standalone templates or design resources.
Subscription and billing
ScreenKit Pro is a recurring subscription billed monthly or yearly. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as Merchant of Record and is responsible for billing, invoicing, and taxes.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. You can cancel anytime from the customer portal linked in your account. Canceling stops future charges but does not trigger a refund for the current period.
Refunds
We offer a 7-day refund window on new Pro subscriptions, provided the account has not yet used Pro features. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Changes to the Service and pricing
We may update, change, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. If we change the price of Pro, we will notify existing subscribers by email and the change will take effect at your next renewal — not mid-cycle.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Your local project data (stored in your browser) is unaffected.
Beta features
From time to time we may release features marked as “beta”, “preview”, or “early access”. These features are provided as-is, may change or be removed at any time without notice, and are not covered by any SLA or support commitment. We welcome your feedback.
Third-party services and links
The Service integrates with or links to third-party services (such as Supabase, Lemon Squeezy, PostHog, and Google Sign-In). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, practices, or availability.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data stored in your browser or on our servers will be preserved indefinitely. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important work.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScreenKit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ScreenKit and its affiliates, officers, and employees from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of or misuse of the Service, (b) Your Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party, including intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights.
Force majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, power or network outages, or failures of third-party service providers.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid, enforceable one that most closely reflects the original intent.
Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ScreenKit with respect to the Service and supersede any prior agreements or communications between us.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely, for example in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Any attempted assignment in violation of this section is void.
No waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision. A waiver of any right or provision must be in writing and signed by us.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of İstanbul, Turkey.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. For material changes, we will notify you by email.
