FAQ

How many screenshots can I upload to the App Store?

You can upload up to 10 screenshots per device size per localization. Apple requires at least 1 screenshot, but we recommend 4-6 for maximum impact.

What format should App Store screenshots be?

Apple accepts PNG and JPEG files. PNG is recommended for crisp text and UI elements. Maximum file size is 500 MB per screenshot.

Do I need screenshots for every device size?

You need at least the 6.5" iPhone and 5.5" iPhone sizes. iPad sizes are required only if your app runs on iPad. App Store Connect will not let you submit without the required sizes.

Can I use the same screenshot for multiple device sizes?

No — each size requires exact pixel dimensions. However, with ScreenKit you can design once and export all sizes automatically.
