FAQ

How many screenshots does Google Play allow?

You can upload 2-8 screenshots per device type (phone, 7" tablet, 10" tablet). Google requires a minimum of 2 screenshots for phones.

What format does Google Play accept?

Google Play accepts JPEG and 24-bit PNG files. Maximum file size is 8 MB per screenshot. Minimum dimension is 320px, maximum is 3840px.

Can I use the same screenshots for phone and tablet?

Technically yes if dimensions fall within acceptable ranges, but we strongly recommend separate screenshots. Tablet users expect to see the tablet UI, not a stretched phone layout.
